Playground-After school
AFTER SCHOOL PLAYGROUND
The Youth Services Recreation Program will begin on the first day of school. The playground will be open from the close of school untill-5:30 pm., Monday through Friday, except for school and legal holidays. The After School Playground Program is provided bythe LAUSD as an addition to the eommunity’s recreational facilities.
The program is planned tor students in grades 2 -5 only who are capable of independent supervision. With one or two Youth Services adults to supervise, older children can play on the yard and participate in games and activities.
STUDENTS MUST CONDUCT THEMSELVES IN A MANNER THAT IS CONSISTENTWITH THE
RULES AND REGULATIONS ESTABLISHED BY THE PLAYGROUND DIRECTOR.
Students will be suspended from the yard for ongoing behavioral difficulties. The after school program (YS) is not a childcare facility.
