Grade 2 Supplies & Wish list

This is a list of items that your child will use and the classroom needs throughout the year. We often run short of these particular items.  Your education is free, and this is not mandatory but if you would like to buy supplies for your child or donate something to the class, here is a good place to start.

2nd Grade Supply List

  • 24 regular #2 pencils
  • 1 pkg. of pencil erasers
  • 1pkg.  colored pencils (12 pack)
  • Thick and thin washable markers (8 pack)
  • 1 Box Crayola Crayons (24count)
  • 1 pair Student scissors
  • 2 two-pocket folders (any color or design) for homework and classwork
  • Folders with fasteners
  • 2 yellow highlighters
  • 2 stretchy fabric book covers
  • 1pkg.  Glue sticks (4-6 in a pack)
  • 1 backpack (labeled with child’s name and room number
  • 1 lunch box (optional, labeled with child’s name and room number)

Additional Items to share with the classroom

  • Kleenex/tissue boxes
  • Paper Towels
  • Baby Wipes
  • Paper or Chinet plates (no Foam plates)
  • Liquid Hand Soap
  • Ziplock bags- Sandwich, gallon or 2-gallon sizes
  • Prize Box items
  • Mr. Clean Magic erasers/Magic Wipes
